Let’s be honest: sometimes you just crave a great burger and fries. Who says though that you can’t have them vegan style? If you still need that vegan fast food fix, Swing Kitchen is the place to go. This has to be one of my favourite burger places I’ve ever visited, not only for their philosophy but also for the quality of their menu. This restaurant is just perfect for yummy, reasonable priced vegan comfort food.
The Non Metropolitan tips
What I loved immediately about Swing Kitchen is that they have a neat menu with 4 burgers: the swing burger, chili burger, vienna burger and cheese burger. I can assure you, all of them taste incredible. My favourite? The swing burger: a crispy soy burger patty, the perfect amount of BBQ sauce, tomato, pickles, lettuce, and fried onions. Say wut??
The menu does not stop here. They also serve delicious wraps (with vegan schnitzel and falafel) and fresh green salads.
As side dish, pick up the nuggets. They are coated in bread crumbs and sesame seeds. Crispy on the outside and perfectly tender on the inside. Yum! Also, love me some good dipping sauce. The one I always go for is the garlic sauce dip. It’s just divine and great with fries and side dishes.
And now the part everyone was waiting for.. Desserts! This place has gained the vegan dessert game. Just to mention some: cheesecake, tiramisu, Sacher-muffins, raspberry and yoghurt tarts. Can it get better than that?
Last but not least, what I also love about Swing Kitchen is their environment friendly philosophy. In addition to serve 100% plant-based food, they use biodegradable packaging made of renewable materials. They also compost, and aim to be as much eco-friendly as possible.
